Meet Tanya

Rooted Not in the Spotlight, But in the Stillness
I’ve always been passionate about strength - both physical and internal.
I became a certified personal trainer at 18 - NASM and ISSA - because I loved movement and I wanted women to feel strong. That passion took me into figure competitions by the age of 20, and eventually all the way to the national stage. I thought I’d open a gym one day.
But as I transitioned into CrossFit competitions, traveling and competing across the country, something clicked: the results women were chasing didn’t come from harder workouts—they came from nutrition.

That realization shifted everything.
I began studying nutrition seriously and managing local supplement stores before opening my own—Total Nutrition—which I ran for 10 years. During that time, I also started what would eventually become Nourish to Thrive, LLC. While running the store, I was passionate about  coaching a team of figure, bikini, and physique athletes, helping them fuel and train for the stage.

I hold a Master's degree in Applied Clinical Nutrition and have continued expanding my education over the years. I’m now a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Restorative Wellness Practitioner, Certified Diabetes Specialist, and Fasting Specialist for Women. I also run Spartan races from 3 to 30 miles, often taking the podium. But the deeper story was still unfolding.
For 10 years, my husband and I battled infertility. Looking back, I now know it had everything to do with my adrenal exhaustion diagnosis. It wasn’t until we moved to the mountains and I shifted into a more restful, aligned lifestyle—one built on nervous system regulation, real nourishment, and faith-rooted rhythms—that I became pregnant at 42.
We welcomed our daughter in 2024
It wasn’t just the mountains or the slower pace that changed me—it was the clarity that came when I finally stopped striving and started listening to what God was asking of me: to abide.
Today, I help women find the same clarity I fought for. I teach rooted rhythms, functional nutrition, and real-food fasting strategies that work with your hormones, not against them. I weave Scripture into science. I give you tools that simplify instead of overwhelm.
Because I know what it feels like to push hard and still not see results. And I know what happens when you finally start working with your body instead of against it.
You can often find me hiking in the mountains, mountain biking with my husband, or chasing around our daughter with our four bullmastiffs trailing behind. Or, you might find me in the kitchen, where I’m probably fermenting homemade yogurt and kefir from raw milk, fermenting my own kimchi, whipping up goat milk soap, or crafting something else from scratch to keep my family well.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about peace.

Let’s get you rooted in what really works.

What I Believe About Healing

My Manifesto
I believe real healing doesn’t come from quick fixes, trendy diets, or perfectly tracked macros.
It comes from being rooted.
Rooted in wisdom—not noise.

Rooted in rhythm—not rigid routines.

Rooted in God’s design—not cultural pressure.

Rooted in nourishment—not restriction.

Rooted in grace—not guilt.
Everything I teach—from fasting to food to movement—isn’t about controlling your body. It’s about coming back home to it.

Because when a woman is rooted, she becomes unshakable. Her energy rises. Her weight stabilizes. Her hormones come into harmony. Her mind clears. Her spirit softens.
And she starts to feel like herself again.
That’s what I want for you.
To help you get rooted in what really works.
Rooted in the wisdom of your body.

Rooted in the truth of your faith.
Rooted in rhythms that restore instead of deplete.
Because everything good grows from being rooted.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about peace.

Let’s get you rooted in what really works.
